I have a child that is naturally gifted in memorizing everything from shopping lists to novels, and so when Mr. Andy asked her to recite a poem for Christmas Eve service this year, she was so eager. I literally handed her a copy of the poem and she memorized it by herself. Sam and I helped her with enunciation and inflection but she did the rest all by herself.


Ironically, the night of the performance, she was NOT ready, at least nerve-wise, but ready or not she pulled through for two services and melted hearts, including Mr. Andy’s who had quite an offer for her.
